I absolutely love helping people celebrate the joyous moments in their lives, so when I was asked to do a custom order for a 40th birthday, I was very excited.
Vicki, my favorite cookie lady, reached out with the best party theme to celebrate her husband's big day: a Guy Fieri themed gathering! I was bringing macs down to FLAVORTOWN.
Look at those sliders! They were so fun to make.
The macaron burger buns were dusted with sesame seeds before baking, giving them a subtle nuttiness.
The burger was edible oatmeal cookie dough with royal icing cheese & lettuce.
Finally, the burger sauce was cinnamon buttercream.
Whenever I do a custom order, I also put together signage to match the event theme. Ingredient cards are almost as fun as the baking (almost), and this one was especially enjoyable to create:
All in all, the party was a success!
